Knowledge Base Backup XP

The way of backup audio/video files by Windows XP.

1 Right click on your CD-RW device, you will see the following dialog box:
2 After clicking "Properties", you will see the following dialog box:  

 

3 Please make sure "Enable CD recording on this drive" is enable.  
4 Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc to the CD-RW device.  
5 Press or select from the drop-down menu [log] > [backup], you will see the following dialog box:
6 Select the Media you want to backup to a hard disk drive.  
7 Enter the desired starting time in "Start Time" and the desired ending time in "End Time" of the audio/video files you want to backup.
8 Press "OK", and you will see the following dialog box:
9 You will see the following dialogue box:
10 When the [Step 9] is completed, copy the backup folder to the CD-RW device. You will see the following image on the CD-RW device:
11 Select "Writer these files to CD" from "File" menu.
12 After clicking "Writer these files to CD", you will see the following dialog box:
13 After clicking "Next", you will see the following dialog box:
14 After burning is completed, you will see the following dialog box:
15 You need to run the "EZViewLog500.exe" located in the root directory of your backup media, in order to view the backup video files.
